AMP'D
This group, exclusively for teens, works with young people struggling with various forms of addictions, including everything from substance abuse to anger management.
(Statistic) 40% who start drinking at age 14 or younger will later develop alcohol dependence, compared with 10% who begin drinking at age 20 or older.
The AMP’d Youth Program
We now recognize that substance abuse and addiction starts most often at a relatively early age, and the importance of dealing with this problem before it gets out of hand. More and more families are asking for help with their troubled teens as they deal with the heart-wrenching and difficult situations that arise as a result of their children’s struggle with a growing addiction. For this reason, as part of the Recovery For The City program, the “Answers for Making Positive Decisions (AMP’d) program was formed. This group, exclusively for teens, works with individuals struggling with various forms of addictions, including everything from substance abuse to anger management. The AMP’d program provides a safe place for teens to socialize, talk, heal and recover.
